Regional Travel-Household Interview Survey (RTHIS) The NJTPA is partnering with the New York Metropolitan Transportation Council (NYMTC) on a new large-scale effort to survey the households in the New York/New Jersey/Connecticut metropolitan area. The main survey which will include about 18,800 households (about 6,800 in the NJTPA region) will take about a year and is expected to start in the late summer of 2010 with results released in 2011 and 2012. The RTHIS webpage provides files and reports to download.
2000 Census Journey to Work MCD-to-MCD Worker Flows

These datasets are distributed as part of the Census Transportation Planning Package (CTPP)exit site.

These files were compiled from Census 2000 responses to the long-form (sample) questions on where people worked. The files present data at the minor civil division (MCD - or municipality) level for New Jersey. Click hereexit site to access the U.S. Census 2000 MCD-to-MCD Worker Flow files.
