Public Meeting: Hackettstown Rail Study

Warren County, in cooperation with the NJTPA, the New Jersey Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration, is hosting a public meeting to inform local residents, officials, businesses and the general public of the Freight Concept Development Study to address the existing weight restriction issue at the 3rd Avenue Bridge under the Washington Secondary rail line in Hackettstown.

The purpose of the meeting is to inform the public of the preliminary preferred alternative and to solicit feedback on the recommendation to address the weight restriction. This meeting is being conducted in conformance with federal and state regulations. The public is invited. This meeting is conducted in conformance with Federal and State regulations. The public is invited and encouraged to comment on the study.

The public is invited to stop by any time between 4 and 8 p.m. There will be brief presentations at 4:30 and 6:30 p.m.
