Public Meeting: Metuchen Safety Improvements

Middlesex County, together with the NJTPA, hosted a public meeting to inform local residents, officials and businesses of planned safety improvement project along Main Street between Talmadge Avenue and Brunswick Avenue in the Borough of Metuchen.

This is a Middlesex County project receiving funds through the Local Safety Program, which is a federally-funded program established by the NJTPA, in conjunction with the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT). It is funded through the Federal Highway Administration’s Highway Safety Improvements Program which advances safety improvements on county and local roads.

The purpose of this meeting was to inform the public and solicit input and comments on the proposed improvements. The meeting was open to all members of the public. Representatives from the County, Borough and NJTPA along with Michael Baker International, the consultant engineering firm, were available to answer questions.

The presentation file for the meeting can be accessed below.
