Metropolitan Area Planning (MAP) Forum 2022 Annual Meeting

The New York Metropolitan Transportation Council is hosting the 2022 Annual Meeting of the MAP Forum. The MAP Forum is a consortium of 10 metropolitan planning organizations and councils of government, which includes the NJTPA. Click here to visit the MAP Forum's website.


1. Welcome and Introductions (10:00 am – 10:10 am) – Debra Nelson & Gerry Bogacz, New York Metropolitan Transportation Council

2. Keynote Remarks (10:10 am – 10:30 am) – Mitch Warren, Executive Director, Northeast Corridor Commission

3. Regional Issues (10:30 am – 10:50 am)

a. NYC Central Business District Tolling Program - Allison L. C. de Cerreño, Ph.D., Deputy Chief Operating Officer, Metropolitan Transportation Authority

4. Public Participation (10:50 am – 11:05 am) (Reserved for registered participants on a first come, first served basis by contacting [email protected] by 9:30 am on the meeting day. Remarks will be limited to no more than three minutes. Total time available for public participation is 15 minutes.)

5. Members’ Roundtable: Impacts of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (11:05 am – 11:30 am)

a. Data & Analysis Initiative – Munnesh Patel, New York Metropolitan Transportation Council

b. Multi-State Freight Working Group – Anne Strauss-Wieder, North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority

c. Multi-State Resiliency Working Group – Meghan Sloan, Connecticut Metropolitan Council of Governments and Manish Shah, New York Metropolitan Transportation Council

7. Multi-State Study (11:45 am – 11:55 am)

a. Regional Waste Movement Study – Gerry Bogacz

8. Closing Remarks & Adjourn (no later than 12:30 pm) – Deb Nelson
