The meeting will include an overview presentation on the study followed by small group discussions so that the public can provide input. The study will identify strategies to safely manage freight movement while balancing the needs of all users of the roadway, with a goal to develop recommendations addressing safety, truck routing, air pollution and congestion, and impacts on vulnerable populations. This study is funded through the NJTPA's Subregional Studies Program. The public is also invited to complete a short survey about truck traffic issues and priorities.
