The Governor’s Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) Office, in partnership with USDOT Federal Highway Administration and the New Jersey Department of Transportation, will host a webinar on the upcoming Safe Streets and Roads for All Grant Program (SS4A).

Presentations will include representatives from the New Jersey Department of Transportation, Federal Highways Administration, and New Jersey Metropolitan Planning Organizations, who will provide valuable insights into the program, share success stories from last year’s awardees, and offer guidance on how to secure and leverage grant funds. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions.

The SS4A grant program provides funds to improve roadway safety and reduce or eliminate roadway fatalities and serious injuries. The program provides funding for two main types of grants: Planning and Demonstration Grants and Implementation Grants. Recipients will be awarded up to $10 million for Planning and Demonstration activities and up to $25 million for Implementation grants. Applications are due by 5 p.m. on July 10.
