Request for Proposals/Qualifications

To assist it in carrying out its federal mandates, the NJTPA frequently solicits input and support from qualified professional consultants. The formal process in soliciting input and support from outside parties is done in the form of a Request for Proposals (RFP) or Request for Qualifications (RFQ). Follow the links below for additional guidelines and a list of the most recent RFPs or RFQs issued by the NJTPA or its subregions.

Confidentiality is of the utmost importance throughout the entire consultant selection process by all parties involved.  The results of the Consultant Selection Committee meetings and all material regarding the consultant selection process are considered confidential until the NJTPA Executive Committee approves the selection and notice of award is issued.

All consultant inquiries regarding the Consultant Selection Process, including, but not limited to, any inquiries concerning projects pending selection, anticipated projects listed on the NJTPA website, or projects not awarded to the consultant asking the question, shall be directed to the attention of Angellita S. Young, Senior Director of Finance and Administration, at [email protected] or by fax at (973) 639-1953. Questions specific to a particular RFP shall be submitted in writing to the NJTPA’s designated project manager and contracting officer noted in the RFP for a response. In order to ensure open and equitable access to all information, answers to all RFP questions received prior to the scheduled deadline for inquires will be posted to the project’s RFP webpage; NJTPA staff will not answer questions individually.
