RCIS REFINEMENT AND STRATEGY EFFECTIVENESS
Description
The North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority, Inc. (NJTPA) is seeking consultant support to enhance and provide greater transparency for the NJTPA’s Regional Capital Investment Strategy (RCIS). To provide a better connection between investment dollars and transportation outcomes, the consultant will help the NJTPA better estimate the effectiveness of its transportation strategies based on a comprehensive review of best practices. The consultant will also build on existing NJTPA analyses of historical spending to further refine and clarify RCIS guidelines and target allocations. Finally, the consultant will develop an enhanced interactive web application for communicating, exploring, and applying the RCIS.
