Accepting Applications for TNJ Local Technical Assistance

Together North Jersey LogoThe NJTPA is accepting proposals for the FY 2021 Together North Jersey Local Technical Assistance program.  Through this program, the Voorhees Transportation Center at Rutgers University (VTC) will provide technical assistance services to support local initiatives that advance the focus areas and strategies recommended in the Together North Jersey Plan.

The deadline to submit applications is October 15. Projects are anticipated to begin late 2020 or early 2021.

Eligible applicants include municipal governments, county governments and non-profit, community-based or non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in the Together North Jersey region.  Special consideration will be given to entities who have participated in Together North Jersey in the past (though not a requirement) and to collaborations between municipalities, counties, and non-governmental organizations.

Up to two projects will be selected for technical assistance services in the form of staff time from VTC and other subject-matter experts as needed.   Projects should be small in scale and must be able to be completed within three to five  months. All projects must be completed by April 30, 2021.
