The Regional Active Transportation Plan is a consultant-supported study that will aim to advance the regional goal of increasing non-motorized travel options by strategically adderssing critical gaps in the regional active transportation network. The plan will be developed using outreach and data-driven methods. It will advance strategies from the Long Range Transportation Plan
and prioritize equitable access to the regional network. A minimum of three prospective active transportation routes or trail segments will undergo additional planning work to further refine recommendations for implementation. The project is anticipated to conclude in June 2023.
