County Executive Craig Guy joined the NJTPA Board in 2024. The County Executive has spent his entire life in Hudson County and has dedicated his life to public service. He was a Jersey City police officer for more than 25 years, rising to the rank of Lieutenant, working closely with community groups and civic leaders. He then served as Chief of Staff to his predecessor, working to improve public education, expand parks and open space, spur economic development and enhance senior and veterans' services. As President of Hudson County Schools of Technology Board of Education for 16 years, he spearheaded construction of a new state-of-the-art High Tech High School campus in Secaucus and was a leader in the creation of Liberty Science Center High School. County Executive Guy has committed his administration to the goal of extending opportunity for every resident.
