Public Meeting: Newark Riverfront Pedestrian and Bicycle Access Concept Development Study

The City of Newark will host a public meeting for the Newark Riverfront Pedestrian and Bicycle Access Concept Development Study to identify safety and mobility improvements on Park Place/Center Street, from Broad Street to NJ-21, and on Broad Street from Rector Street to Washington Place, referred to as the Military Park Area, or New Jersey Performing Arts Center area.

The project aims to:

  • Improve safety and mobility for pedestrians, bicyclists, transit users, motorists, and all road users
  • Establish better pedestrian and bicycle connections between Broad Street and Passaic waterfront area
  • Expand the active transportation network within the City

The virtual on-demand public meeting, available at www.bikepedaccessnewark.com, will be accessible for 30 days following the meeting.
