Dover Rail Study Virtual Public Meeting

The County of Morris, in cooperation with the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority, the New Jersey Department of Transportation, and the Federal Highway Administration, hosted a Public Information Center meeting to inform local residents, officials, businesses and the general public of the Freight Concept Development Study that aims to identify ways to eliminate several at-grade crossings on the  Dover & Rockaway Railroad located between the Township of Rockaway and the Town of Dover.

The purpose of the meeting is to inform the public of the preliminary preferred alternative and to solicit feedback on the recommendation to address the weight restriction. The public is invited and encouraged to comment on the study.
