Regional Active Transportation Plan
The Regional Active Transportation Plan (ATP) is a consultant-supported study that will aim to advance the regional goal of increasing non-motorized travel options by implementing a plan that strategically addresses critical gaps in the regional active transportation network. The plan will be developed using outreach and data-driven methods. The plan will advance strategies from the NJTPA’s Plan 2050 and prioritize equitable access to the regional network. A minimum of three prospective active transportation routes or trail segments will undergo additional planning work to further refine recommendations for implementation. The project is anticipated to begin in February 2022 and conclude in June 2023.
